Argumentation Blog 2

In the editorial Neglected Warriors by the New York times, the rate of active duty soldiers and even veteran soldiers has almost doubled since 2007. Congress is saying that they are working hard on prevention measures to decrease this rate.

I agree that prevention measures should be taken but that they should have been in place long before the issue even arrived. The suicide of our own soldiers is likely to turn epidemic with the emotions of war involved. If prevention measures have been placed before now this issue would not have risen.
